I often come across some interesting articles and resources while sifting through my morning tweets. Normally I have a read and save the ones I am interesting in to my delicious bookmarks, but this morning I thought I’d share something fun I found - PhotoFunia.
Photofunia is basically a site which allows you to import an image onto a background so you look like you have imagination and photoshopping skills. At first I looked at the thumbnail images that came up when I opened the home page and being my usual non-instruction reading self went “huh? is this like Flickr?”, so typical me clicked on thumbnail image and was met with a request to choose a file “ok, not like Flickr”. So I chose a .jpg file thinking “ok, not very interesting, so I can put my photo in other photos… apathetic yay”. But then the narcissist in me came out. It was really FUN! So I did it again and again and again. Then I emailed the PhotoFunia(ed) photos of myself to my coworkers to show them what I’d done. As usual they rolled their eyes in that tolerant way reserved specially for me when I get very excited about such things.
I’m not too sure how I could introduce PhotoFunia in an educational way to anything I do at work, but it was a bit of fun nevertheless. So now to share my wonderful PhotoFunia creations with the blogosphere. Can you tell what the original imported picture was?

Cool site. I like both deefunia and photofunia. You may also want to try other templates on http://www.deefunia.com. Just found this similar site few days ago.
Thanks Kit. You’re right – they are eerily similar aren’t they. Thanks for sharing.
It looks really cool. Picjoke – funny photo effects is another great site with different templates and daily updated with a new effect.
